LIEUTENANT COLONEL ROBERT GLENN III, USA, joined the Naval War College faculty in August 2010 after having completed a tour in the U.S. Southern Command as the Chief of Joint Logistics Operations Center. Prior to serving in USSOUTHCOM, LTC Glenn served as the Security Assistant Officer (Army/Navy) for the Country of Jordan, assigned to the U.S. Central Command. LTC Glenn previously served as the Executive and Support Operations Officer for the 127th Aviation Support Battalion, 1st Armored Division where he deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. LTC Glenn previously served for the Industrial Operations Command, 10th Area Support Group, 602nd Maintenance Company (Operation Restore Hope) and 61st Maintenance Company, Korea. He is a graduate of the Ordnance Officer Basic and Advanced Course, Combine Arms Services Staff School, and the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Alabama Agriculture and Mechanical University in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Masters Degree in Community Counseling Family Life Training from Michigan State University.
