Profile
A 1990 graduate of Boston University with a B.A. in Biology, Tim received his naval commission through the NROTC program at Boston University. He received his M.S. in Information Systems from Bryant College in 2003.
A naval surface warfare officer, he has served in a variety of active and reserve command and staff billets, including tours onboard the USS Inchon (LPH-12), SWOS, REDCOM NE, NCTAMS LANT DET Cutler, and CJTF Phoenix V. Currently a drilling reservist, CAPT(s) St. Laurent took command of the Office of Naval Research Science and Technology Detachment 107 in December 2010.
In the private sector, he has served in a variety of management positions in manufacturing, telecom, and as a defense contractor supporting Navy Lessons Learned at NWDC and the development and implementation of the Maritime Staff Operators Course at the NWC. Tim is presently assigned as an Assistant Research Professor supporting Operational Level Programs, College of Operational and Strategic Leadership.
