We are a collaborative student-faculty effort that uses operational analysis supported by free-play war gaming to examine in detail a potential medium intensity access denial challenge. The scenario examined involves a potential opponent employing asymmetric approaches to establish and maintain sea-control in the current timeframe.
Our analysis of this challenge is conducted at the classified, tactical level, and relies on military and civilian student expertise to maintain its relevance to the fleet and appropriate staffs. Halsey Bravo students annually brief their work directly to the CNO, and regularly to many other flag officers and senior decision makers.
