Biography

Designated a Naval Aviator in 1995, his operational experience includes flying the FA-18 C/E in three Strike Fighter Squadrons (VFA-82, VFA-131, VFA-27) and serving as the Operations Officer of Carrier Air Wing SEVEN (CVW-7) aboard the USS EISENHOWER (CVN-69). He has participated in operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, and been stationed with the Forward Deployed Naval Forces based in Japan. His shore assignments include instructing at the Strike Fighter Weapons School Atlantic and serving at the Joint Warfare Analysis Center. At the U.S. Naval War College, he has served as a military professor in the Strategy and Policy department and now specializes in operational wargaming.
