Biography

Professor Willenberg teaches staff operations and military planning in the College of Maritime Operational Warfare. A career naval flight officer and joint planner, he served for 20 years on active duty completing multiple operational deployments. He also served in theater security cooperation, planning, and current operations billets at U.S. Naval Forces Europe & Africa/U.S. Sixth Fleet and at U.S. Fleet Forces Command. He is a graduate of the maritime advanced warfighting school.
