Biography

Capt. Josh Fagan is a military professor in the Strategy and Policy Department. As a Navy helicopter pilot, he has served as commanding officer of Helicopter Sea Combat Weapons School Pacific, deployed on combat detachments ashore in Iraq during Operations Iraqi Freedom and New Dawn, and supported deployments to the Western Pacific and Arabian Gulf on board aircraft carriers. He has served as the air operations and strike officer for Carrier Strike Group Five and as an exercise lead with U.S. Cyber Command. He is a U.S. Air Force Academy graduate and served as an Air Force acquisitions officer before transitioning to the Navy.

Flew as Helicopter Aircraft Commander (HAC) on multiple deployments in the 5th and 7th Fleet AORs. Conducted HA/DR missions in the Philippines, combat logistics missions out of Basra, Iraq, MEDEVAC in the Western Pacific.
