Biography

CDR Ross is a native of Bridgeport, WV. He enlisted in the Navy in 1995 before attending the U.S. Naval Academy and receiving a commission in 2001. He was designated a Naval Aviator in 2003.
At sea, he has served at Helicopter Anti-submarine Squadron Light FOUR TWO (HSL-42) where he deployed in USS HAWES (FFG 53) and USS BULKELEY (DDG 84) and Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron FIVE ONE (HSM-51) where he deployed in USS LASSEN (DDG 82) and USS McCAMPBELL (DDG 85). Additionally he deployed to Camp Victory in Baghdad, Iraq where he served with the III Armor Corps and the XVIII Airborne Corps. Ashore, he was in instructor at Training Squadron TWO (VT-2).
