Biography

Ryan S. Nye, Lt Col, USAF, Military Professor, joined the National Security Affairs Department after graduating from the Naval War College in June of 2017. He completed Officer Training School and commissioned in the USAF in January of 1999. He was an Air Force Fellow in the National Laboratory Technical Fellowship Program at Sandia National Lab from 2011-2012. Lt Col Nye is a nuclear and missile operations officer in the Minuteman III ICBM weapon system. He is a graduated squadron commander and a joint qualified officer.
