Biography

Lt. Col. VerPlanck is assigned to the Wargaming Department in the Center for Naval Warfare Studies. He was commissioned in 2004 and has served in various positions across the Marine Air Control Group specializing in aviation command and control with two deployments to Afghanistan. Lt. Col. VerPlanck’s most recent assignment was as the capabilities integration officer for Ground Based Air Defense at Marine Corps Combat Development and Integration Command, Quantico, Virginia.
