The Evening Lecture Series exists to bring nationally and globally-recognized experts in such fields as national security, world affairs, contemporary social issues, scientific research, and private industry to speak at the college in support of its educational mission. The series is conducted on weekday evenings during the academic year that runs annually from August through June. Lectures are typically streamed live online and open to members of the local community. Due to ongoing physical security procedures, guests must pre-register, and must be prepared to show a government-issued identification card at the access gate. If you would like to register for this event, please contact us at eveninglecture@usnwc.edu at least seven working days prior to the lecture.
The speaker for this event is Leymah Gbowee, Liberia, Nobel Peace Prize Recipient.
