NEWPORT, R.I. -- Fifty-two students from the College of Naval Warfare (CNW) and the College of Naval Command and Staff (CNCS) graduated from U.S. Naval War College (NWC) in Newport, Rhode Island, Nov. 14.

The graduating class is composed of 45 Navy, six Army and one Marine Corps officers -- 42 of whom are students enrolled in the intermediate-level CNCS and 10 in the senior-level CNW.

Depending on the program, students earned Joint Professional Military Education credit and either a master’s degree in National Security and Strategic Studies or Defense and Strategic Studies -- both of which are accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
