Fourteen times per year we welcome a group of prospective command chiefs and officers to campus. Here, you will participate in an intensive leadership development program before embarking on one of the most demanding and rewarding positions in the Navy.

Click to Open Your brief time as an NLEC student will be filled with learning: seminars, lectures, activities, discussions, and guest speakers. But you’ll also have the opportunity to build camaraderie with other commands through socials and general down time. Your time in Newport culminates with a graduation ceremony.
