Humanitarian Military Support
The Humanitarian Military Support is a function that supports CMOW courses and Fleet requirements for foreign humanitarian education and training while enhancing the U.S. Navy’s and international militaries’ ability to conduct humanitarian assistance and disaster response operations. This is achieved through innovative education, research, and simulation activities. By working with U.S. Navy Fleets, U.S. Government Agencies, partner nations, leading universities, and humanitarian organizations, we aim to improve coordination during humanitarian operations in complex emergencies and natural disasters.
Our Objectives
We provide educational opportunities for leaders and practitioners across the humanitarian military support sector while enhancing the U.S. and international militaries' understanding of best practices and lessons learned from complex emergencies and natural disasters. Additionally, we promote the integration of rapidly evolving frameworks and information communication technologies that aid in humanitarian military operations.
About Us
We collaborate with U.S. Navy Fleets, U.S. Government Agencies, partner nations, top universities, and humanitarian organizations to improve engagement and coordination during complex emergencies and natural disasters.
