The US Naval War College is a private non-profit institution.

Accreditation Announcement

Following a successful self-study review by NECHE, the US Naval War College was continued in its accreditation on 24 March 2025. A  5-year interim review will take place in the fall of 2029 with the next 10-year review to take place in the fall of 2034.
