
About the Learning Commons
Established in August 2016, the Learning Commons provides resources for students and faculty at the U.S. Naval War College. Our mission is to advance knowledge, provide help with literacy, and support research. The Learning Commons is comprised of the Henry E. Eccles Library, the Writing Center, the Teaching Excellence Center, the bookstore, and the Information Resources Department.

In addition to the library the Learning Commons offers resources such as computers for printing and copying, a collection of current and bound periodicals, a mother’s room, as well as research materials like our general collection, government documents and our microfilm and microfiche collection.
