Advanced Strategist Program

The Navy has determined there is a need for officers skilled in the practice of formulating, developing, and executing strategy at various leadership levels in order to fill key billets in Navy, Joint, and high-level political staffs. NWC is one of several professional schools or university programs designed to produce such a cadre of officers educated in the study and application of Naval Strategy.

Graduate Certificate in Ethics and Emerging Military Technology

The Naval War College’s groundbreaking Graduate Certificate in Ethics and Emerging Military Technology (EEMT) is the first-ever NWC Certificate offering. The Certificate program is designed to deepen expertise in the ethical complexities imposed by new technology.
