Biography

Lt. Antonio Garcia, a native of Austin, Texas, first enlisted as a trombonist in the U.S. Navy in 2010. Prior to commissioning through the Limited Duty Officer program, he completed enlisted tours with Navy fleet bands in Jacksonville, FL, Naples, Italy, and Norfolk, Virginia. Since then, he has served in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and Washington, D.C. Garcia holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts from Rutgers University, and now proudly serves as the Director of Navy Band Northeast in Newport, Rhode Island.
