Biography

Lt. Antonio Garcia, a native of Austin, Texas, enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 2010. He graduated from Musician “A” School and served with Navy Band Southeast and U.S. Naval Forces Europe and Africa Band. In 2018, he completed the Unit Leader Course and was assigned to U.S. Fleet Forces Band. Commissioned in 2020, he served with U.S. Pacific Fleet Band and later with the U.S. Navy Band in Washington, D.C. In 2025, he became Director of Navy Band Northeast. Garcia holds degrees in trombone performance from Harding, Memphis, and Rutgers, earning a DMA in 2014. His awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation and Achievement Medals.
