Biography

A career intelligence professional and fully qualified joint service officer, Capt. Leese has completed operational tours with USS Abraham Lincoln; special projects, VPU-1; N2, USS Bataan Amphibious Ready Group; and N2, Carrier Strike Group 2 embarked on USS George H.W. Bush. His shore tours include U.S. Naval Forces Europe; Navy and Marine Corps Intelligence Training Center; North and West Africa Branch Chief, U.S. Africa Command; and military professor, U.S. Army War College. Most recently, he served as the chair of the Defense Intelligence Department at National Intelligence University. Capt. Leese is a Ph.D. candidate in war studies at King's College London.
