Biography
Cmdr. Christopher Hutton is a Military Professor at the Naval War College’s Stockton Center for International Law. He holds degrees from Gonzaga University (B.A.), the University of Southern California Gould School of Law (J.D.), Georgetown University (LL.M.), and the Naval War College (M.A.). Commissioned in 2009, Cmdr. Hutton has advised more than a dozen operational flag officers across joint and maritime commands. Prior assignments include Expeditionary Strike Group TWO, Combined Joint Task Force–Horn of Africa, OJAG Code 10 (National Security Law Division), the Office of the Judge Advocate General, Region Legal Service Office Mid-Atlantic, and Naval Submarine Base New London. He has also deployed multiple times in support of overseas operations.
