Biography
Cmdr. Hutton is an active-duty Coast Guard Judge Advocate and military professor in the Stockton Center for International Law. Her prior assignments include Staff Judge Advocate for the Coast Guard Fifth District, Virginia; Deputy Legal Counsel, Office of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Washington, D.C.; and Legal Advisor, Coast Guard Maritime Security & Response Policy Office, Washington, D.C. She has also served in various assignments at Coast Guard Headquarters, Officer Candidate School, and Legal Service Command. She holds an LL.M. from Harvard Law School, J.D. from Suffolk University School of Law, and B.A. from Westfield State University.
