Biography
Captain Greg Smith serves in the Naval War College’s College of Maritime Operational Warfare on the Assist and Assess Team. From Parkville, Maryland, he graduated with distinction from the United States Naval Academy in 1997, earned a Master of Arts in International Relations from the University of Maryland in 1998, and graduated with distinction from the College of Naval Command and Staff in 2008. He also served as a Federal Executive Fellow at the Johns Hopkins University-Applied Physics Laboratory and as a Massachusetts Institute of Technology Seminar XXI Fellow. CAPT Smith, a P-3C Orion Naval Flight Officer, commanded Patrol Squadron 26 and U.S. Naval Support Activity, Bahrain.
