Biography

Joined the Naval War College faculty in 2003 while on active duty in the U. S. Coast Guard, serving at sea for more than fourteen years, including seven years in command. Active duty experience included counter-narcotics and migrant-interdiction, and finally command of the Coast Guard’s sail training ship, USCGC EAGLE.
