Biography

Lt. Col. Jones joined the U.S. Naval War College in 2024 as a member of the College of Leadership & Ethics. He commanded at the battalion level and served in various staff positions with operational assignments in Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan. His past assignments included Army Sustainment Command, the Army Talent Management Task Force, the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), U.S. Army Combined Arms Support Command, and the 82nd Airborne Division. He received his B.S. from Pennsylvania State University, B.A. from University of Maryland University College, and M.B.A. from the College of William & Mary.

Commanded a strategic-level battalion responsible for storing, maintaining, and issuing Army Pre-Positioned Stocks in support of CENTCOM, forward deployed to Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.

Action Officer, Army Talent Management Task Force, Headquarters Department of the Army G-1

Served as an action officer and Chief of Support for the Command Assessment Program, a Chief of Staff of the Army program that revolutionized the Army's process for selecting battalion and brigade commanders and other key billets.
