Biography

Lt. Col. John Barringer is a Military Professor in the National Security Affairs Department. He is an AC-130 Weapons Officer with over 2,200 flights hours, including 992 combat hours. His experience includes multiple combat deployments to the CENTCOM AOR, a staff tour at US Space Command’s National Space Defense Center, and he most recently served as the squadron commander for the AC-130 Formal Training Unit at Kirtland AFB, NM. He received his undergraduate degree from James Madison University in 2006 and is a graduate of USAF Weapons School and Air Command and Staff College.
