Biography

Jack Shea is an associate professor in the Joint Military Operations Department and the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) representative to the Naval War College. As an officer in DIA’s Directorate for Operations, he served in leadership positions in the Defense Debriefing and Defense Attaché Services, as a senior intelligence officer supporting the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and as detachment and operations chiefs in Afghanistan. Prior to DIA, Shea was a naval intelligence officer with assignments as assistant naval attaché in Hong Kong, as an advisor with US Military Groups in El Salvador and Colombia, and as a ship’s intelligence officer in USS ENTERPRISE (CVN-65).
