Biography
After receiving my doctorate in the history of science from the Johns Hopkins University, I subsequently taught at UCSD, Cornell University's Department of Science & Technology Studies, and served as an adjunct in Georgetown University's Security Studies Program. My research focuses on the relations among academics, corporations and the military in the period from 1930 through 1970. I am currently trying to complete a volume entitled, A change of state: Technical practice, political culture and the making of Early Cold War America.
