Biography

Lt. Col. Phillip Summers commissioned into the Air Force via ROTC after graduating from Clemson University in 2006. He is a military professor in the College of Leadership and Ethics. Previous to this assignment he was the Commander of the 9th Airlift Squadron at Dover AFB, Delaware. He is a Command Pilot with over 3,000 hours (600 combat) in the C-130 E/H and C-5M.
