A former Naval Aviator and EW Mission Commander, who led reconnaissance missions off the Levant, Algeria, Libya, Syria and overland Croatia, Bosnia and Iraq while serving in VQ-2, Rota, Spain. He later served as the EW Officer on the USS George Washington and as the Air Ops Planner for the Italian High Readiness Force in Taranto, Italy. Ashore, he was the Deputy Director of Navy Lessons Learned and selected as an Afghanistan-Pakistan Hand, where he engaged closely with the Afghan Presidential and Ministerial Spokesmen. Designated as a Joint Qualified and Foreign Area Officer, he finished his 24-year naval career as the Deputy Chief of the NSA’s Red Team.
