Biography

Richard Johnson is an Associate Professor in the War Gaming Department at the U.S. Naval War College, with extensive experience designing, directing, and analyzing strategic and operational war games. He previously served as a War Game Specialist with Netsimco and as CEO of Voi, Inc., a behavioral health technology company. His prior roles include senior leadership positions at Dartmouth-Hitchcock and The Dartmouth Institute. He also served as a Senior Military Analyst supporting war gaming at the Naval War College. A retired U.S. Marine Corps Colonel with 34 years of service, his assignments included Inspector General, Chief of Staff, Commanding Officer, and aviator.
