Biography

Cmdr. Clarke is a F/A-18E/F pilot assigned to the Naval War College. He has deployed in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, Inherent Resolve, and Freedom's Sentinel and to the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility. He has accrued over 2,300 hours and 650 arrested landings in the F/A-18E/F. His at-sea assignments have included VFA-41 on USS Nimitz, CVW-8 staff on USS John C. Stennis, and VFA-213 on USS George H.W. Bush. His shore tours have included an instructor tour at VFA-122, a student at the Naval War College, and as officer in charge of the Naval Weapon Systems Evaluation Program. He previously served as the assistant air officer (mini boss) on USS Dwight D. Eisenhower.

Assistant Head of Department for 650 Sailors and 20 officers onboard USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. Deployed in support of Operation Freedom's Sentinel and the Afghanistan Retrograde.

OIC of the Naval Weapon Systems Evaluation Program. Oversaw all aspects of the Navy's live air-to-air missile shoot program. FA-18 Program Manager for USAF Naval Weapon Systems Evaluation Program and liaison for Royal Canadian Air Force CF-18 squadrons.
