Biography

Tilo Kalski is a German Navy commander and military professor in the Joint Military Operations Department. A career surface warfare officer specialized in Ant-Submarine Warfare, he served in multiple sea and staff assignments. He commanded the frigate Bayern, leading the German Navy’s first Indo-Pacific Deployment in 2021. He is a graduate of the UK Joint Services Command and Staff College, and holds an M.A. in Defence Science from King’s College London.
