Biography

Adrianna Gonzalez serves as the Climate and Culture Advisor at the U.S. Naval War College (NWC), where she contributes to strategic initiatives at the institutional and DoN level, the development of NWC community members, and DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) program and policy execution. As a seasoned higher education professional with over ten years of experience and graduate education in social work, she brings a human-focused approach to addressing organizational growth from a DEI perspective. In addition, Ms. Gonzalez also teaches in the College of Leadership and Ethics. Her research interests include educational equity, organizational development, and leadership.

U.S. Naval War College, Office of the President

As the Climate and Culture Advisor: Coordinate and align the College's committees and activities to contribute to a diverse and inclusive college climate consistent with the strategic plan.
2019

University of Georgia, Office of Institutional Diversity

As the Coordinator for Learning and Development: Created and executed learning and development (L&D) curriculum to improve faculty and staff competencies. Led DEI learning and identified key success metrics. Provided leadership, consultation, and strategic oversight across campus colleges.

As the Transfer Admissions Coordinator: Served as the primary contact for transfer admissions, representing the university state-wide. Provided community colleges with policy and program improving the transfer pipeline process. Managed application and reporting flow in coordination with leadership.
