Biography

Lt. Col. Welch joined the Joint Military Operations Department in July 2021 after completing battalion command, Defense Logistics Agency Energy (Europe and Africa), Kaiserslautern, Germany. She served in a variety of organizations including the U.S. Agency for International Development and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. She served combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. She holds two bachelors’ and four masters’ degrees including a Master of Military Art and Science from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College and a Master of Science in supply chain management and logistics from the University of Kansas.
