Biography

Cmdr. Brown is a Navy Human Resources Officer and has served in roles involving recruiting, training, manpower and development. He holds a B.A. in political science, an MBA from the Naval Postgraduate School and an M.A. in national security affairs and strategic studies from the U.S. Naval War College. At sea, he served on the USS George Washington (CVN 73) and on the USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) as the ship’s training officer. Ashore, he served as enlisted programs department head at Navy Recruiting District New England, the deputy N1 at the U.S. Naval War College, the director of Officer Candidate School and XO at Officer Training Command.
