Biography

Lt. Col. Jeffrey S. Cameron is a military professor assigned to the Joint Military Operations Department at the U.S. Naval War College. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1997 and shortly thereafter applied to and was accepted at the U.S. Air Force Academy. He graduated from the Academy with the class of 2003. He is a distinguished graduate of the U.S. Air Force’s Command and Staff College and the U.S. Naval War College. He is a senior pilot with 770 combat hours flown over Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria. He has served on the Headquarters Pacific Air Forces staff and commanded at the squadron level.

Commander, 12th Operations Support Squadron

Led 135 military and civilian personnel across five primary mission areas in support of seven operational flying squadrons.
2018

Director, Pacific Air Forces Commander's Action Group

Led a seven-person team in direct support of the Commander. In addition, led the Command's National Defense Strategy Integration Team and helped develop Indo-Pacific Command’s strategic framework for competing with peer adversaries below the threshold of armed conflict.
