Biography

LT Joel Borrelli-Boudreau holds degrees from the New England Conservatory of Music (BA), The University of Miami (Masters of Music), George Mason University (MA in Conducting), and The Catholic University of America (Doctor of Musical Arts). He won the position of Principal Trombone with the U.S. Naval Academy Band in 1997, and was selected to the rank of Chief Petty Officer in 2010. In 2012 he received his commission and has served as Director, Navy Band Fleet Support Unit and Training Support Officer, Naval School of Music. In 2014 he was assigned as the Assistant Director of the U.S. Naval Forces Europe Band. In 2017 he was assigned as Director, Navy Band Northeast.
