Biography

Dr. John Mangold joined the NWC in 2007. Graduated Temple University; commissioned in the USMC in 1986. A Marine logistics officer. Designated a JSO having assignments with USPACOM, J4. Other assignments with Strat Ops, MNF-I and OpsO for CMO in the US Embassy, Iraq. He designed, delivered and managed the NWC Maritime Staff Operators Course since first offered in 2008. He holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership. He completed USMC Amphibious Warfare School and the USMC Command and Staff College and later the Joint Forces Staff College.
