Biography

Cmdr. Colby McAlexander joined the War Gaming Department in July 2018 from PACFLT as a communications systems/cyber planner. Commissioned through NROTC at Texas A&M University, he holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a master’s degree in Military Operational Art & Science, National Security Strategies, with focused studies in Information Operations, and Intelligence, Surveillance, & Reconnaissance from Air Command and Staff College. Operational tours: HSL-44; MNF-I; CDS-50; CTF-152; NCTAMSPAC. Staff tours: HSLWINGLANT DET SIG; FCC/C10F; CPF. Warfare designations: Information Dominance Warfare Officer; Naval Aviator. Certified Information Security Management, ISACA.

Led the operation, maintenance, and management of C4I services in support of Pacific Fleet and Allied units, afloat and ashore, operating across the Pacific and Indian Ocean Areas of Operations.
