Biography

CAPT Mark Seaman retired from the Navy, June 2008. He graduated from the U. S. Naval Academy, May ‘79 and designated a naval aviator, August ‘81. Sea tours include VF-32 (‘84–‘87), deploying aboard USS Independence and USS John F. Kennedy, and VF-143 (‘89–‘92) deploying aboard USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. Shore tours include VF-101 (‘87–‘89), NATO HQ North, Kolsas, Norway (‘92–‘95), and Navy Recruiting District, Portland, as Commanding Officer (‘96–‘98). He reported to the Naval War College, September ‘01, and served in both the Joint Military Operations Department and the War Gaming Department.
