Biography

Professor Michael J. Maher is the Central Intelligence Agency's representative to the U.S. Naval War College and the George H. W. Bush Chair of National Intelligence. He teaches policy analysis in the National Security Affairs Department and electives on intelligence. In more than 26 years of U.S. Government service, he has served in a number of senior roles, including as an editor of the President's Daily Brief, chief of the Open Source Element at the U.S. European Command, and most recently as a senior digital expert in CIA's Directorate of Digital Innovation.
