Biography

Cmdr. Ryan Vest is a military faculty member in the College of Maritime Operational Warfare where he serves as the Commander, Sixth Fleet action officer for the assist and assess team and as an affiliate faculty member with the Russia Maritime Studies Institute. He accrued over 2,500 hours in the SH-60F, HH-60H and MH-60S as a pilot and has served at sea with HS-11 aboard USS Enterprise, HSC-8 aboard USS John C. Stennis and HSC-21 where he deployed with the 2515th Naval Air Ambulance Detachment. His shore tours include as weapons and tactics instructor at the Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center.
