Biography

U.S. Coast Guard Capt. Sean Fahey is a graduate of Emory University and the University of Georgia School of Law. He has served as a senior legal advisor to numerous Coast Guard and DoD commands. His previous assignments include trial attorney, Department of Justice; Coast Guard District 14 (Honolulu); operational law branch, U.S. Africa Command; and international law professor, Stockton Center for International Law. Capt. Fahey’s research focuses on maritime security, the Arctic and the cyber domain. His work has been featured in the Harvard National Security Journal, Just Security, Lawfare and Law and Policy.
