Lt. Cmdr. Ted Olson is a surface warfare officer who has served primarily on amphibious ships, including USS Fife (DD 991), USS Ingraham (FFG 61), USS Cleveland (LDP 7), USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), USS Bataan (LHD 5), USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) and USS George Washington (CVN 73). His shore tours include Amphibious Construction Battalion One and U.S. Cyber Command. He earned a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College in 2012. Lt. Cmdr. Olson was born in Boston, grew up in San Diego and is a 2001 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with a bachelor's degree in systems engineering.
