Biography

Associate Professor Garrold has been the Deputy Director of the College of Distance Education since 2015. Prior to then, he served as the Program Manager for the Fleet Seminar Program beginning in 2003. A retired Navy Surface Warrior, he commanded at sea and ashore and served in various surface combatants and ashore commands throughout a 32 year career that began as an Enlisted Sailor in 1974.
