The Cyber & Innovation Policy Institute (CIPI) Summer Workshop brings together a small group of dedicated academics, practitioners, and government officials for high impact writing and wargaming about information environments and military innovation.

About the CIPI Summer Workshop

This three-day event addresses policy relevant research of significance for the Navy and the Nation. The topic for 2024 is “Military Tech Cooperation: Sharing Defense Research and Development."

Select participants are brought to Newport to engage directly with Naval War College faculty and students. Working together, they prepare publications to have a constructive impact on national security and international affairs. They also participate in wargames and learn from distinguished guest speakers. This event helps build a community of thought leaders to advance research and policy analysis.
