2026 Cyber & Innovation Policy Institute Summer Workshop: "Cyber Seabed to Space"

The Cyber & Innovation Policy Institute (CIPI) Summer Workshop brings together a remarkable group of scholars, practitioners, and government officials in Newport RI to advance policy solutions through wargaming and high impact writing.

About the CIPI Summer Workshop

This three-day event addresses policy relevant research of significance for the Navy and the Nation. The topic for 2026 is "Cyber Seabed to Space: Connectivity During Crisis and Conflict in the Pacific."

Select participants visit Newport to engage directly with Naval War College faculty and CIPI Gravely students. Working together, they prepare publications to have a constructive impact on national security and international affairs. They also participate in wargames and learn from distinguished guest speakers. This event helps build a community of thought leaders to advance research and policy analysis.
