The 2020 U.S. Naval War College and Brown University "CM-HR" workshop will bring together approximately 200 humanitarian practitioners, academics and military leaders to explore contemporary challenges in humanitarian access, aid worker security and civilian protection.

This humanitarian-focused workshop series is designed to help the U.S. military, international maritime forces, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA), USAID, humanitarian organizations and academia develop robust research, professional education, training and development agendas to improve civilian-military coordination during humanitarian response.
