About This Event
Since the end of the Cold War there have been a series of wars where air forces have played major or dominant roles. The Contemporary Air Wars Workshop brings together scholars and practitioners to examine how the character of air warfare has changed and to evaluate the effectiveness of air power against weak state and non-state actors in conflicts in Bosnia, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Yemen and Syria. The workshop is supported by the U.S. Naval War College’s Center on Irregular Warfare and Armed Groups.
