This event is for U.S. Naval War College students, faculty, staff, alumni, and invited guests.This conference examines the human security construct as applied to the strategic maritime environment, with a focus on its implications for future roles, missions, and capabilities of national sea services. Topics covered include human insecurity in the maritime environment and coastal zones; criminal activities; unsafe mixed migration and modern slavery; illegal, unreported, unregulated (IUU) fishing; and protection of cultural heritage.
