The Challenges Developing Organizational Culture and Principled Leadership - the Stand-Up and Early Days of US Cybercom

U.S. Cyber Command was established in response to the growth in importance of cyber within the Department of Defense. This presentation will discuss the small group that took on the actual stand up and the organizational culture and climate challenges at the beginning. Then the discussion will shift to the way operations drove a shift in culture, to include the cultural artifacts that surfaced. The talk will wrap up with a discussion of the principled leadership examples that led to the success of Cyber Command today.
